    The blogosphere will be a better place when bloggers get the part about creating quality content that helps people right. :)

    The how-to type of posts work very well, especially if it's related to design or Wordpress tweaks (plugins). Most of the blogs that I love reading have a mix of entertaining and informational articles.

    Those people should blog who can create some content and have their own voice, not them who just copies content from here and there.

    I don't think and never think that I want to be monster blog. Every time I write my blog, it's because I feel the responsibilities to write for my readers. If it does become a monster blog, then it's a bonus.

    The blogs you mentioned definitely are the monster blogs. Mine's a baby. I don't get articles up as often as I like, but I figure I will build it up in time. :)

    Create a poll or survey to collect information and to interact with your readers too. Personal touch is there which builds relationship with your readers.
